Celebrating our fourth year at Harrogate Nursery Fair
On the 28th March we returned for a fourth year to the UK Nursery Fair in Harrogate, excited to be back under our new branding to showcase our great new baby tech to buyers from all across the industry.
The show was slightly more condensed this year but we found this actually worked to our advantage – it meant we were able to meet for longer with not only scheduled appointments, but also many more walk-ons from the independent sector so this was hugely valuable.
We were able to present visitors with our impressive range of monitor options from Hush through to Panasonic and with the full range on show; we were able to present a multitude of price point offerings whilst also offering differing features between the brands. The new BT range was well presented and was certainly a destination display on the stand for retailers who have either heard of or worked with BT in the past. From there we were then able to lead into different technology options with the Snuza range of portable breathing monitors and the Panasonic Smart Home system.
It was a great chance to preview the brand new Snuza Pico and the added features of temperature and sleep tracking were positively received. Snuza Hero MD has worked well at retail so the next generation seemed a natural step up for customers who had already bought into the Snuza technology.
With the rise in popularity of Smart home installation, the Panasonic system is spot on for key technology and consumer buying trends and visitors were extremely impressed with the features of the baby monitoring system and the ability to build this into existing home automation.
Sleepybobo’s Gerry the Giraffe and the brilliant Cool Mist Humidifiers from Crane were also on show, adding some lovable character to the stand. Gerry rocked his socks off yet again, gaining more fans than last year with his super cute face and innovation and the Crane humidifiers continue to tick boxes with retailers looking for health solutions that are proven to work for the whole family!
Overall, the three day show was extremely beneficial to Nimans Home. Not just for our own brand awareness, but to meet with colleagues – existing and new – and spend time talking through all the exciting brands we will be bringing to their business throughout 2017!
