Nimans Home strikes gold
The Nycomm Group, that includes Nimans Home, is celebrating a double success after smashing through the £1.5bn communications sales barrier since being formed four decades ago.
The company recently retained its Gold Investors in People status and has also been recognised for its sales growth by the Sunday Times.
“The IIP assessor was particularly impressed with the people he met as he recognised the clear direction set by the Board and the level of involvement that people have in decisions that impact their own work,” says CMO Steve McIntyre. “He noted the progress we have made with our internal communications, the positive results from our engagement survey and the work we have been doing with our leaders and people managers to continue to improve and develop as a business and as an employer.
“He also found that we have made great progress in recognising people when they do a great job – from the little things like a manager saying thank you, or giving someone a box of chocolates or an early finish; to the big things like our annual Edge trip to a luxury destination. These are some of the many reasons that makes Nimans such a successful and special place to work.”
In a further boost the Group is celebrating a major achievement after being ranked one of the country’s top 250 growth companies by the Sunday Times, after annual turnover eclipsed £130m. The rankings are based on overall business performance of Britain’s private mid-market growth companies with the biggest sales.
Steve added: “These latest awards further reinforce our market leading status where £1.5bn worth of communications equipment has been sold since our founder Julian Niman created a limited company in 1985. We continue to uphold his values and legacy of putting the customer first.”
